I work with the incomparable beauty of natural light whenever possible. There is just such a softness and beauty to natural light portraits, which cannot be duplicated by artificial light sources. And of course, living in bucolic Bucks County provides the perfect backdrop for on-location photography for children and families. Beautiful, natural light and scenic environments are what give my portraits their signature look.

I began my career working as a graphic designer and publications specialist, but always had an interest in photography. As I saw my own children passing so quickly through their childhood years, I realized I didn’t want to forget the preciousness of each stage. Drawing on my creative background, I began to study the art of portrait photography. Through study that included college courses, seminars and working closely with established Philadelphia area photographers, I developed a style that allows my subjects to be presented simply and beautifully. These portraits are destined to become generational heirlooms.

While my main focus is children’s and family portraiture, my commercial work has appeared in a variety of national business publications and includes cover credits.
