This shoot had been a gift certificate that had been given as a Christmas present. I'm so glad the weather held out so we could fit it in. Even with REALLY high humidity, the girls hung in there for close to an hour and a half of shooting.

I love it when I have the opportunity to shoot a family in their own environment, and today I made a short jaunt out past New Hope to this beautiful stone house and grounds. The drive and farm reminded me again of how much I truly enjoy living in Bucks County. You could travel far and wide and not find a more scenic area. The portrait session had been a gift for the parents, and I was so glad we were able to squeeze it in while the whole family was together for the weekend.

Just a little sneak peek from my shoot at Washington Crossing Park tonight. I had to laugh when I pulled into the parking lot and found a family all dressed similarly - kind of makes them easy to pick out (when it's our first time meeting) as being the family ready for a photo shoot! The weather held out just long enough to squeeze in the shots I had hoped to do. The kids were great, especially since we ended up being there for close to an hour and a half. Mom and Dad weren't crazy about joining in, but I hope when they see their family shot they will be glad they did...

Karen:
Thanks Lynette, they look great. I especially love the black and white. Can't wait to see more!

How lucky can you get? A 60 degree day in mid-November. When I scheduled this shoot with the M family over a month ago, I really thought it would be postponed until the spring, when it would we warmer. But you just never know in November! This family has a tradition of making their Christmas photos fun, and it carried over into their portrait session, too. Everyone was in high spirits, which makes for some great shots.

Wow, will this rain never end? Squeezed in S and H this afternoon, with the rain holding off just long enough. Thank goodness the girls were old pros, so we were able to shoot fast and keep moving. Two beautiful girls, great smiles, a super fun shoot.
