Welcome Welcome to my blog! I love to take pictures, which is why I started my natural light portrait studio, Lynette Shavel Photography . Of course, I like to shoot all sorts of things, so this blog allows me to post whatever I find interesting. Clients might find a few sneak peek photos posted, but I'm just as likely to post vacation pictures or scenic shots of the surrounding Bucks County countryside. Check back often for new posts.

The white pine beside our house is getting too big, and will have to be taken out soon. Its needles are clogging our gutters, and the branches are hitting the house. Wish it had been planted just a little further out in the yard.

I was crossing my fingers all day that the rain would hold off for an extra hour or so. I had to get the Cahill family shoot in no matter what, since one of the families was off to Tokyo for a relocation. About a half hour before our shoot, the heavens let loose. I discovered that I can indeed shoot a family of 10 indoors. A tight squeeze, but everyone cooperated and did a great job.
