Yesterday was Pittsgrove Day down near Elmer, NJ, which is where my parents and brother and his family still live. The kids and I went down to spend the day, and capped it off by watching the fireworks from the end of my parents driveway. While we sat in the back of my dad's pickup, we spotted another family with the same idea one farm over. Barns, corn, pickups and fireworks.... Makes me think of summer days, Americana style.
