How lucky can you get? A 60 degree day in mid-November. When I scheduled this shoot with the M family over a month ago, I really thought it would be postponed until the spring, when it would we warmer. But you just never know in November! This family has a tradition of making their Christmas photos fun, and it carried over into their portrait session, too. Everyone was in high spirits, which makes for some great shots.

Wow, will this rain never end? Squeezed in S and H this afternoon, with the rain holding off just long enough. Thank goodness the girls were old pros, so we were able to shoot fast and keep moving. Two beautiful girls, great smiles, a super fun shoot.

Jim and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary in New Paltz, NY at the Mohonk Mountain House. No tv's, no radios (not even a clock radio), just crackling fires, hiking, reading... complete relaxation. It's funny how rejuvenating it can be to completely "unplug" for two days. It definitely goes into my happy place category.
