How many times have you seen one of these skies, with the sun pouring through in perfectly defined rays. It's only a matter of seconds before the cloud moves on, and the moment is gone.

Josh has been working on his science fair project for two weekends now, and we can finally cross it off the to-do list. The project was a "lemon bottle rocket," which worked really well, but is hard to actually capture the moment the cork flies off the bottle. To document the carbon dioxide that is formed from the baking soda and vinegar, we decided to try a balloon. Success!

Josh (#54) had a basketball game today for our parish league at Saint Ignatius. The program is truly outstanding, with dedicated coaches and just a great group of kids. I think he is finally developing a real interest in the game, which is definitely a direct result of participating in such a well-run program.
